Okay, one more quick post…then I’ll stop ignoring my to do list… I can’t believe it’s already 10pm…I guess that’s what catching up on Lost will do to you… This was a sketch I did during the first Art Pandemonium meeting. It’s a Sea Dragon that I photographed at the MN Zoo the day before. I was playing with water soluble graphite and inktense pencils… I was terrified to add color to the initial graphite because color seems to ruin things for me… but I’m happy with the subtleness of the blue. Sorry that it’s not actually scanned…just a photo I took of it…
Okay… I swear I’m done for the night… I’m having too much fun getting this blog populated…

Very nice. I see you call it a Sea Dragon, is that what we call a Sea Horse here in Wales? I love sea-horses, have done since i was a child. I love the blue you have used
Thank you! The zoo had both Sea Dragons and Sea Horses, they look very similar, this one is called a Leafy Sea Dragon because of the weed-like fins it has everywhere. I’ll try and post the pictures I took later so you can see what they really look like. Absolutely beautiful animals!
Hiya, when you are happy with your inktense painting/drawing, perhaps I could link it on http://www.inktense.com ?
